Pcos Chin Hair

| Hey everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has had similar experiences and what has actually helped you. I have PCOS and I mainly struggle with issues on my chin — things like coarse chin hair, ingrown hairs, and occasional breakouts. It’s pretty much only this area, but it feels like there’s always something going on there. I usually remove the hairs with tweezers, which I know probably makes things worse, because I keep getting ingrown hairs and irritation. Over time this has also led to scarring and dark spots in that area. Right now it’s more red because it’s freshly irritated, but most of the time it’s actually darker pigmentation that’s really hard to cover. I’m especially struggling to find anything in terms of skincare or makeup that really works. No concealer or foundation I’ve tried manages to cover it properly without looking obvious or cakey, which makes me feel quite self-conscious. So I was wondering — what has helped you guys with ingrown hairs, inflammation, or dark marks in that area? Has anyone found a long-term solution that works (like laser or something else)? And also, how do you cover it in a way that still looks natural? I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences 🤍 [link] [comments] |
