Super weird fake tanner question

Trying to figure out the right product and method to apply fake tanner that will make me look comically orange and won’t make a mess.

Long story short- I’m a comedian hosting a show in a few days and a bit I’m doing is coming out at one point shirtless with obvious fake tanner all over my extremely pale body.

I need the tanner to look silly, cheap, and almost orange but also don’t want to leave a trace of fake tanner backstage anywhere or have it drip onto the stage as I move around.

Considering applying it the night before but worried when it sets it won’t look as crazy, and if I do it back stage it might make a bit of a mess and then I won’t have access to a shower after so I’ll be screwed getting out of there without staining all my clothing.

Any tips about products that look overt with minimal mess would be amazing. If I could just do it the night before without worrying about it staining the white shirt I’ll be wearing that would be ideal. I know odd question but not sure where else to turn!
