How to make makeup long lasting if your skin type is naturally dry?
I have naturally very dry skin. Because of it, I can’t use all of the long-lasting powders and setting sprays that everyone else uses. Even powder blushes and powder bronzers are iffy for me to use, if I’m not careful with them my skin will get all dry and flakey.
Because of this, I don’t know how to make my makeup long lasting. Especially since I have to do a lot to prep my skin.
This my current makeup routine:
1) Skin prep: Aestura cream mist, Hyaluronic Acid, Vanicream cream, La Roche posay sunscreen. This routine is really thick and hydrating, but my skin is very dry and needs all the help it can get. I usually change and do my hair while letting the skincare dry, which takes like 5 minutes.
2) Huda beauty color corrector and Haus Labs concealer. Applied with a brush.
3) Makeup by Mario skin enhancer and Rare Beauty matte cushion blush.
4) I set my under eyes with Charlotte tilbury pressed powder and a puff. I set my blush with the Hourglass powder blush and a brush.
5) I use the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get my makeup to last longer. The concealer stays on fairly well but my blush and bronzer rubs off in around 2 hours which is so frustrating.
I’m considering perhaps purchasing a new blush and spray. I’m considering the Danessa Myricks blush (since I think it is a cream to powder formula?) and the Patrick Ta powder melt setting spray
