any security or privacy risks to selling an old camera?

hello! I'm considering selling my Nikon Coolpix L25, a hand-me-down from my father. my only concern is whether or not there's privacy or security risks to this, such as it getting into the wrong hands and then somebody accessing old photos for example. unlikely, but you can never be too cautious.

is there a way to actually factory reset these? I've formatted the SD card (not that I was going to sell it with the card anyway, but that's beside the point), I've formatted the internal storage, and pressed ‘reset all’ in settings.

this doesn't have me too convinced though because weirdly enough, after doing all of this, when I go to the ‘change welcome screen’ section, on the custom welcome screen option there is a photo of me from a decade ago that my dad took and it literally will not go.

so does anyone know:

• any privacy or security risks

• if there is a way to fully factory reset this camera?

thank you very much!
