Pretty but no pretty privilege?

Title. 18F and I get told (unprompted) by people I meet (sometimes strangers) that I'm pretty. I even posted pictures on one of those rateme subreddits and I got called beautiful and a ton of dms from random people. So, not supermodel level, but solidly pretty based on societal perception.

Interestingly though, a lot of women describe pretty privilege and the attention that comes with being attractive. I barely get any attention, people treat me normally (not badly), and no one is ever wowed by me or offering me privileges, exemptions, or free stuff.

Not really sure what the cause is but some thougths:

1) Maybe I'm not that attractive and people just say things for fun

2) I am overweight, around 182 pounds at 5'3. The distribution of weight is sorta in my favor in that it doesn't do to my face and waist as much but it's defnitely apparent that I'm not a slim woman

3) I might be just photogenic which leads people to give me attention online

4) I do some makeup (winged eyeliner, concealer, blush, mascara) but that isn't good enough for getting romantic attention and pretty privilege?

5) Being POC? I'm South Asian though I'm more lighter-olive skinned than brown/tan and I have curly hair. But my friend who's also South Asian and darker-skinned than me has a lot guys who are into her

6) Anything else?
