Is there a way to select rows, based on the value of a specific column?
I'm a relative beginner with Excel, since I mostly work with my data in other programs specific to my field. However, I wanted to make some quick pivot tables in Excel. Normally, I'd query the specific attribute I'm working with (in this case specific towns), and just export all entries that match that attribute into Excel. However, in this case that would result in an overwhelming amount of different Excel sheets with how broad this data set is. So, I was wondering if I could make that sort of querying selection in Excel itself; so say tell Excel to select all rows that have a specific town name, and then I could use that to make my individual pivot tables for each town.
