Color wheel: additive vs subtractive

Hello fellow photographers.

Can you please help me understand color wheels?

I understand the concept, but there are two wheels.

additive for screens and subtractive for paints/materials. correct?

let's say i want to dress a model into complimentary colours. I gave her a red shirt and green jacket.

Those are complimentary colours on the subtractive wheel, so it looks great, right?

I took a photo and now i see this on a screen, ... so now i should use an additive colour wheel?

so now green and red are not complementary? but my eyes see the same colour in both scenarios. why suddenly same outfit is not complimentary?

what colour wheel should I use?

I AM SO CONFUSED.
