Is arajet the biggest scam in aviation?

I’ve had my fair share of travel headaches, but my recent experience with Arajet takes the cake. Honestly, is Arajet the biggest scam in aviation right now? Here’s the story of how a simple flight turned into a total nightmare.

Before the trip, I made sure everything was booked: my ticket, a checked bag, and most importantly a pet-in-cabin reservation. I had all my receipts and confirmations ready.

When I got to the counter, the staff claimed I hadn't paid for the pet. I showed them the proof, so the attendant called support. Support told her that I should call support. When I finally got through to support, they told me to resolve it with the attendant.

Classic. To avoid missing my flight, I ended up paying for the pet all over again right there at the desk. And get this: even after paying twice, their system still showed I hadn't paid.

The Return Flight: Total Chaos

If the way there was bad, the way back was a disaster. This time, they claimed I had no checked bag and no pet reservation. After a long argument and showing my receipts again, I finally managed to get my bags checked.

But then came the kicker: the attendant told me that Arajet doesn't allow cats in the cabin. I had to pull up their own website and show them their own policy stating that cats are indeed allowed. Only after proving their own rules to them was I allowed to board.

The Verdict

It feels less like an airline and more like a coordinated effort to overcharge and confuse passengers. If you're planning on flying with them especially with a pet be warned. You might end up paying double and doing the staff's job for them.

Has anyone else dealt with this level of incompetence from them?
