Staying in Panama City early December

I’m traveling to Panama City late November, early December first to do a trip in the San Blas archipelago. After that I’d like to stay in PC a couple nights and enjoy the culture and the early Christmas vibe/festivities. I’m looking for recommendations on where to stay. Somewhere close to good partying locations but also relatively safe and nice. Doesn’t need to be anything boujie and spendy but also not looking for a super cheap hostel or anything like that. Something in the middle that gives me good bang for my buck and also puts me close to night life activities.
