My buff Orpington (new chicken owner)

| My girls are about 10 weeks old. They have been living inside the guest bedroom until the weather is stable enough to put the out. But I have been letting they go to the run on warmer days for an hr or two. Yesterday I noticed my buffs voice changed it sounds like a honking noise not sure if that’s normal for buffs and changed in voice happenings over night. But I was worried and kept an eye on her. Last night she was panting and her wings were out and she was really weak. I looked it up and thought maybe she was really hot. I put her feet in cold water and put a fan in her room. She drank one sip of water 15 mins later and ate a little but still was really weak. She did stop panting and stop spreading her wings a few minutes after cooling her. This morning she is still weak but she is alert and talking to me. She does still sound like a horn. Any thoughts? She is one of my favorite and it would hurt if something happened to her. 💔 [link] [comments] |
