First ever fairy egg

I’m actually so excited that we got a fairy egg today! We have to rehome our chickens because our property is not zoned for them. After fighting the city for over a month we finally admitted defeat and they all have to be rehomed by April 27th. I’m very sad and will miss them dearly.

Our close neighbors took our oldest hen, Henrietta so we will be able to visit her and one of the other girls. The others are going to a sanctuary where we unfortunately won’t be able to visit.

We have learned so much about chickens in the past 4 years and we can’t wait to have more ❤️
