Short 4-day solo trip from Montreal (Friday–Monday) , looking for suggestions

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some travel suggestions and would really appreciate your help

I live in Montreal, and have 2 days off (Friday + Monday). I originally had Miami in mind, but I’m hesitating a bit and thinking I might prefer avoiding the U.S. for this trip. Nothing specific I want to get into regarding that, just personal preference, especially since I’d be traveling solo as a colored woman and I’d rather keep things simple and stress-free right now.

So I’m open to ideas for somewhere that feels like a proper getaway (sun, city, culture, anything really), ideally with easy access from Montreal and doable in a long weekend.

If you’ve done a similar short trip from Montreal, I’d love to hear where you went and if you’d recommend it.
