How to get into the world of Sports Photography?

Hello! I've been wondering if anyone here can give me any insight or tips on how to get into Sports Photography. I do photoshoots for bands and concerts already but I don't really have anyone who I know of that can help me learn more about sports photography.

So... who do I reach out to? How is it like working in the field? Are there any people I should specifically try and reach out to or any companies?
